Humberside Police Log 0017 - 18/09/2025.

Theft of Motor Vehicle Update - Stolen Motor Vehicle located.

Theft of Motor vehicle - 25000123261 - 02/09/2025. The vehicle was stolen from MAIN STREET, THORNTON, EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE.

At around 0050 hrs on Thursday the 18/09/2025, constables from the Rural Task Force have located the stolen motor vehicle, namely a horse box with a VRM J64GGJ at Bracey Bridge, off the A614, East Riding of Yorkshire. The vehicle has been recovered and the victim has been updated.

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being stolen, please read through the below advice -

Keep your vehicle locked at all times

Make sure your vehicle alarm is set if it has one.

Consider using a steering wheel lock, we recommend Secured by Design accredited products.

Don't leave your keys or fobs where they can be easily found.

If your vehicle has keyless entry, use a faraday pouch to prevent a reply theft.

Park your vehicle in a garage if you can, or in a secure location.

If you have CCTV, park your vehicle where it will be covered.
